Thomas Howard

Mr. Howard has practiced commercial law since 2008, when he graduated from law school and got his Series 7 & 66 Securities licenses. He pivoted to practicing litigation for financial institutions before becoming an Illinois cannabis lawyer helping clients form, capitalize, and get licensed. He has concentrated on the cannabis business since Illinois legalized it in 2019. Thomas won licenses for clients in Illinois, Connecticut, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Massachusetts and has gotten into lotteries in Ohio and Maine. He became a Certified Ganjier in 2021. He chaired the ISBA’s section council for Cannabis Law in 2023.

Sergio has worked in 32 different states and 27 different countries since joining the cannabis industry in 2016. He has secured lucrative licenses for clients in locations such as Portugal, Illinois, New Jersey, California, and many others. Sergio is an expert in licensing, business processes, and financial modeling. In 2020, Sergio took a break from the cannabis industry to obtain an MBA in financial analytics and work as an interim Director of Finance for a cannabis nutrient start-up. After graduating in 2021, Sergio worked on applications in states such as Texas, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Arizona, Mississippi, and Alabama. He has a 92% success rate.
