Thomas Howard

Managing Director

Mr. Howard has practiced commercial law since 2008, when he graduated from law school and got his Series 7 & 66 Securities licenses. He pivoted to practicing litigation for financial institutions before helping cannabis teams form, capitalize, and get licensed. He has concentrated on the cannabis business since Illinois legalized it in 2019. Thomas won licenses for clients in Illinois, Connecticut, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Massachusetts and has gotten into lotteries in Ohio and Maine. He became a Certified Ganjier in 2021. He chaired the ISBA’s section council for Cannabis Law in 2023.

Sergio Barraza-Ingstrom

Operations Director

Sergio has worked in 32 different states and 27 different countries since joining the cannabis industry in 2016. He has secured lucrative licenses for clients in locations such as Portugal, Illinois, New Jersey, California, and many others. Sergio is an expert in licensing, business processes, and financial modeling. In 2020, Sergio took a break from the cannabis industry to obtain an MBA in financial analytics and work as an interim Director of Finance for a cannabis nutrient start-up. After graduating in 2021, Sergio worked on applications in states such as Texas, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Arizona, Mississippi, and Alabama. He has a 92% success rate.

Mr. Djukic is an experienced finance professional with over 20 years of experience in Private Equity and Venture Capital. His core expertise includes financial modeling, deal structuring and valuation. Acts as an interim CFO for startups across industries and mostly in cannabis, professional sports, renewable energy, and real estate.

Adam Dalton

Applications Director

Adam is an experienced compliance and operations professional with an educational background in Economics (B.A.) and City Planning (M.A.). His main focuses are regulatory compliance and licensing processes within highly regulated governmental environments. Since joining the cannabis industry in 2021, after leading a multi-national NGO licensing program for natural resource conservation, he has worked in 21 different states and 8 different countries. Adam is also a licensed real estate agent who specializes in regulated real estate compliance with respect to sensitive use barriers.
